Form Energy is hiring a Staff Process Engineer, Powder Metallurgy to join our Anode Process team. As a Staff Process Engineer, Powder Metallurgy, you will play a crucial role in ramping first-of-kind production processes on novel powder furnaces and hydraulic presses. Your work will be critical to the properties, performance, and function of our Iron anode, the core technology behind Form’s battery technology. 

Responsibilities:

• Land, commission, and develop automated processes on first-of-kind high-volume furnaces and thermal processing equipment
• Optimize and stabilize novel powder metallurgy processes to meet stringent part and product quality metrics
• Prototype innovative formulations, methods, and architectures 
• Work with equipment vendors to design equipment and scale manufacturing methods for these novel architectures

Requirements:

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgy Engineering, or Materials Science
• 5+ years experience in high-temperature materials processing in manufacturing and powder process design
• Expertise in metallurgical principles
