Technical & Member Development Director
Metal Powder Industries Federation, Princeton, NJ
To drive the overall technical direction for MPIF technical programs, products and services, and to engage members to participate to advance PM as a technology.
Support, promote and coordinate the technical activities of MPIF. Serve as the primary liaison with the MPIF Technical Board and its committees. Facilitate initiatives and projects supporting the advancement of powder metallurgy and particulate materials technologies.
Work with committees to monitor technical developments in PM and related industries, as well as competing technologies, and serve as a resource for general technical information for members, affiliated organizations, publications, academia and others.
Support membership in MPIF by servicing the needs of existing members as well as promoting MPIF benefits and services to prospective members. Work closely with the Vice President, Member and Industry Relations to identify, develop and initiate member benefits.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years management experience in a powder metallurgy company or related industry. Minimum B.S. in materials science, metallurgy or related engineering degree. Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work creatively and tactfully with various volunteer groups and members. Basic computer proficiencies.
Must work out of the Princeton, NJ office.
